Description:
A speciality of Dazaifu, Fukuoka Prefecture, associated with Sugawara no Michizane. A blend of glutinous and non-glutinous rice is used to make the dough, which is filled with a slightly sweet sweet bean paste and baked to a savoury perfume.

Preserve method:
Store in refrigerator and consume within 4 days from item reception.
Recommended way to eat:
<For natural defrosting>
Take out of the freezer and defrost at room temperature for about an hour.
You will be able to taste the original chewy texture of Umegae mochi.
<For microwave>
It is best to warm it in a microwave oven for 1 minute 10 seconds to 20 seconds (500w) without wrapping.
